Matt Lauck - Event Chair / Marketing Director, Retail Solutions

Matt Lauck has been with Emerson for almost 11 years and has held varying roles with the company over that time period. He has organized and led the develoopment of Emerson's Technology in Action Conference since its inception in 2002 and has grown the event from a single division, 20 person roundtable discussion to an event that hosts approximately 110 people and highlights offerings from 10 different Emerson divisions. Matt has been instrumental in the launch of Emerson's Intelligent Store TM offering as well as the promotion of various product and service offerings directed at the retail market from Emerson Comate Technologies. Matt holds an MBA from Kennesaw State University and a B.S. in Technical Communication from Mercer University's School of Engineering.

Joe Fiander has been in the supermarket business for more than 30 years working for both Sobeys and Loblaws. At 23, Joe was a store manager and has since worked in the areas of operations, merchandising, and most recently real estate and engineering. Joe brings a unique ability to understand and communicate how corporate programs impact the organization from various perspectives. Joe's achievement is attrabuted to his focus on people and his desire to help them succeed. Located in Stellarton, Novia Scotia, Joe has had the opportunity to move through the Canadian Maritimes and Newfoundland.

Marty Moon

Marty Moon has worked for Stop and Shop / Giant Foods for over 27 years. He started his career in the Giant Food Maintenance Department as a Food Equipment Repair apprentice. He expanded his knowledge of various equipment to include scales, auto wrappers and ATM machines. In 1987 he moved into the EMS Department which maintained all EMS equipment and eventually monitored all stores in the Giant Food arena 24/7. In 2000 Marty was promoted to Refrigeration Superintendent for the Southern Division of Giant and was responsible for construction and maintenance in 200+ stores. In 2004 Giant Food was integrated into The Stop and Shop Supermarket Company where Marty's role changed to Refrigeration Manager of the Giant Landover / New York Metro Divisions. His current position is Manager of Refrigeration Maintenance for all Stop and Shop / Giant Food stores. Marty resides in Crofton, MD with his wife Paula and their two children Melanie and Matt.
